Inspired by the 2023 sequel to The Exorcist, Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer is one of the Universal Horror Unleashed houses that WDWNT was able to experience at the all-new, year-round horror experience in Las Vegas.

Universal describes this house as follows:

Step inside Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer, where terror takes hold and never lets go. Follow the living story of two girls overtaken by an ancient evil, their screams echoing through a maze of twisted torment. Try to escape before the ancient entity claims you as its own.

Universal Horror Unleashed is unique in that it has “exterior” queues outside of each house, and then more themed queues leading into the houses. This particular queue leads guests into the opening Haitian setting of the film.

The film begins with a couple on their honeymoon in Haiti, so the storefronts and decor represent that aspect of the film. As guests enter the queue, a voiceover warns of human rituals and dark forces present in every corner of the world.

Several signs for “Skelet Tonm” or “Fallen Skeleton” are posted throughout the interior queue before guests enter the actual house experience. Flashing lights and sounds add to the overall atmosphere.

The first scene in the house contains a room full of candles and red lighting. It then transitions to parents looking for two girls, Angela and Catherine, in a wooded area. Missing signs are posted on some of the trees. A police officer then claims to have found a body right before the devilish creatures start popping out of nowhere.

Guests are then led through a hospital scene with several haunting encounters with possessed girls.

After the hospital, the girls’ houses and rooms are explored. One scene features an attempted exorcism.

Several other creepy areas, with lots of red lights and devilish jump scares, finish out the experience.
