Interactive Water Wheel Returns to Disney Springs

The interactive Disney Springs water wheel has returned or been replaced after about 2 months gone.

The wheel is ostensibly connected to the larger “springs” in the center of Disney Springs. It debuted in 2016, soon after Downtown Disney was renamed and when the Town Center area opened. It’s located in the center of Town Center, near the Welcome Center.

Guests can turn the wheel, causing the larger mechanism to turn and bring water into the pond. The wheel is branded “Disney Springs” and “Florida.” It’s looking shiny and new, especially compared to the rest of the mechanism.

The wheel has been missing since at least June for unknown reasons. It may have been broken or just needed a refurbishment.
