In honor of the 70th anniversary of the Muppets, the 2025 runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas will be Muppets-themed.

The annual runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas is made up of three 4K races, which runners can complete at their own pace at home. General registration opens on August 19 at 10 a.m. EST. Registration is $267. The completion timeframe is December 1 to 31, 2025.

Runners get access to customizable digital tools like themed race bibs and finisher certificates. They will receive four limited edition Muppets 70th anniversary medals (three 4K medals and one Challenge medal) that double as ornaments, a Brooks Running Beanie, a Holiday CORKCICLE mug, and a box of Twinings holiday tea.

Here are the individual race themes.

runDisney Muppets Miss Piggy and Foo Foo 4K

• A race fit for divas! Get ready to jog, strut or dramatically demand to be carried through 2.49 miles of magical mayhem.

runDisney Muppets Gonzo and Camilla 4K

Cape optional! Launch yourself into 2.49 miles of holiday fueled nonsense, performed wherever and however you see fit!

runDisney Muppets Kermit and Robin 4K

Hi-ho, holiday runners! Bring the festive spirit (and maybe a banjo) for 2.49 miles of wild fun—one joyful hop at a time.
