WDWNT was able to experience all four houses at Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas, and we’ve put together full tours of each. This time, we visit The Texas Chainsaw Massacre house.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre House
Universal shared this short synopsis of the house:
Journey through a rotting farmhouse, its walls stained with terror and echoing with the screams of past victims. Hidden deep in the remote heart of Texas, something unspeakable awaits.
The outer queue of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre House is lit up with red, and the house name is projected among the stanchions leading inside.
The interior queue begins to tell the story of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Behind a graveyard statue, the film’s plot scrolls up a screen, laying out the events that are about to unfold in the house. Before entering the house, guests walk past the roadside gas station and barbecue joint before entering the establishment to begin the experience.
Upon entering the gas station, there is an actor who pops out of a door and shouts a warning to those walking through. The next location is the old family home, where we some of the five teenagers from the film are searching. One of the rooms features Leatherface using a chainsaw to saw off a human head.
Lights, saw noises, and scares are present on the walk-through that leads to the dining room, bathroom, and other areas.
Finally, we see Shannon being cornered by Leatherface as the house comes to an end.

This experience is one of four other houses at Universal Horror Unleashed including Universal Monsters, The Exorcist: Believer, and Scarecrow: The Reaping.
The characters of Horror Unleashed live in a warehouse and have rich backstories, some even tell stories and interact with guests as they travel from house to house. The experience is a culmination of food, drinks, and merchandise all fitting together to form one story.
Tickets range in price from $59 to $99. There are tickets with one-time access to each house, including a discounted option for Nevada residents, and tickets with unlimited access to the houses on the selected date.
