A live-action sequel to the animated Vampirina Disney Jr. series is coming to Disney Channel and Disney+ this fall.
Vampirina: Teenage Vampire

Vampirina: Teenage Vampire is a music-driven series following Vampirina “Vee” Hauntley, a tween vampire girl who leaves the safety of Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school. While living among humans for the first time, Vee pursues her passion for music and keeps her identity a secret — a problem made more challenging when her overprotective father charges an overzealous ghost to live with her at the school.

The first two episode of Vampirina: Teenage Vampire will premiere on Disney Channel on September 12 at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. EDT/PDT, followed by new episodes weekly. All 16 episodes will be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand on October 15.
The original Vampirina series, based on the Vampirina Ballerina books by Anne Marie Pace, ran from 2017 to 2021 on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel.

Vampirina was voiced by Isabella Crovetti in the Disney Jr. series, but will be played by Kenzi Richardson in live action. The rest of the main cast includes Jiwon Lee as Vee’s girly-girl roommate Sophie, Shaun Dixon as the intriguing and laid-back Elijah, Milo Maharlika as the 600-year-old ghost Demi, and Faith Hedley as talented legacy student Britney. The recurring cast includes Kate Reinders (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) and Jeff Meacham (Black-ish) as Vee’s parents. Kim Coles (Living Single) is Dean Merriweather of Wilson Hall Academy of the Arts.

Guest stars will include Emmy Award winner Mykal-Michelle Harris as the delightful and dangerous Ruby, Jenna Davis (M3GAN, M3EGAN 2.0) as magnetic upperclassmen Megan, viral Ariel Martin (a.k.a. Baby Ariel) (ZOMBIES) as popstar Millie Eyelash, and star of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Janice LeAnn Brown as her character Billie in a crossover episode.

The show is from the team behind Julie and the Phantoms, including showrunners and executive producers Dan Cross and David Hoge. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series creator Tim Federle is executive producer. Bronwyn North-Reist and Meg Deloatch also serve as executive producers.
