LEGO revealed their first-ever $1,000 set — a reimagined Star Wars Death Star, releasing this October.
LEGO Star Wars Death Star Ultimate Collector Series Set – $999.99

While previous LEGO Death Star sets have been full orbs, this version depicts an open slice of the space station, showcasing its interior.

The set features scenes from both Star Wars: A New Hope and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, like the trash compactor, Emperor Palpatine’s throne room, Princess Leia’s cell, the tractor beam control unit, and the Imperial shuttle hangar.

The set number is 75419. It has 9,023 pieces and is recommended for ages 18+. When completed, the dimensions are over 20.6 in. (52.3 cm) high, 18.9 in. (48.0 cm) wide, and 15.1 in. (38.3 cm) deep.

It comes with 38 LEGO Star Wars minifigures, including Luke Skywalker in Jedi and stormtrooper variants, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and two droid figures. There’s also a stormtrooper minifigure in a hot tub, referencing the LEGO Star Wars video games.

The Death Star set will be available for LEGO Insiders Early Access starting on October 1, 2025 from LEGO.com and LEGO Stores. It will be available for all fans starting on October 4, 2025.

Those who purchase the Death Star Set between October 1 and October 7 will get a LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter with Imperial Hangar Rack (10+) (40771) as a gift with purchase.
To celebrate the launch, LEGO Insiders can also redeem 5,000 points for a Death Star set poster.
