This might be a bit too hearty and warm for the hot weather in California, but it could be better once things cool down later this fall. This is a large, shareable portion for the size. We were worried the soup was going to be too salty, but it was surprisingly well-balanced. We prefer the sourdough bread to the fried egg roll wrapper, but it’s not bad. We would rate this higher if we hadn’t eaten it in a heatwave.

This is built like a tart and doesn’t look much like bread pudding in its presentation — but the bread pudding texture comes across at the center. The flavor is dead-on, and we would love to have it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The apple filling tastes pre-made or store-bought, which was disappointing to us.

This is the classic delicious sourdough bread always found at Aunt Cass Cafe, Boudin Bread Cart, and Mortimer’s Market — just in a vampire Mickey shape. It’s soft, delicious, and huge, making it perfect for snacking on throughout the day or taking home with you.

This is a confusing beverage with a lot going on. We think the flavor they were going for here is a little too much like sour milk. Maybe it’s supposed to be a sour apple flavor, but we’re not getting any apple, or caramel for that matter. It’s mostly sour with a salty cold foam. It’s not bad, but we wouldn’t get it again.
