The legendary Imagineer Bob Gurr shared some exciting news on his official Instagram: you can get an autographed version of his Funko Pop figure!

Autographed Funko Pop! Icons Bob Gurr – $120

The caption reads:

A Legendary Collectible

This isn’t just any Funko Pop — it’s history in a box. The Bob Gurr Pop! was the last figure personally overseen by Funko founder Mike Becker! @funmakermike

When it was first revealed, Bob himself became the very first inductee into the Funko Celebrity Hall of Fame — a fitting honor for the man who designed so many of Disney’s most iconic ride vehicles.

Each Pop comes with an official hologram seal and certificate of authenticity.

As part of the Pop! Icons series, Gurr is depicted in a red Hawaiian shirt, khakis, and red sneakers. He holds a blue tiki mug (which also has his likeness!) and gives a cheerful thumbs up.

The figure was originally unveiled at WonderCon 2023, then became exclusively available in a limited run of 3,000 at the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where Gurr was also on hand for signings.

Now, fans who didn’t get a chance to attend or pick up this figure of a living Disney legend can add an autographed edition to their collections exclusively through Fandom Productions. According to the site description,

Each POP is personally autographed in bright yellow paint pen and comes with the “official autograph” Fandom Productions hologram seal and certificate of authenticity.

The now 93-year-old Gurr started working for Disney in 1954 when it was still WED Enterprises, and he was one of the last Imagineers to personally work alongside Walt Disney. Gurr’s specialty was ride vehicles, and his legacy includes Autopia, Matterhorn Bobsleds, the original Submarine Voyage, and the Haunted Mansion Omnimover ride system, among many other creative contributions.
