The photo studio where Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique participants could get PhotoPass photos taken has permanently closed.

Sir Mickey’s has a photo studio where PhotoPass photographers take photos of the kids receiving Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers. We just learned that this is now closed.

Currently, large blue curtains with gold tassels block the area off.

The shop is located in Fantasyland near the back of Cinderella Castle. Guests can still shop for costumes, accessories, and apparel even though the PhotoPass studio is closed.

Guests between the ages of 3 to 12 can receive Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers, which include themed costumes, accessories, and styling services like hairstyling and makeup application.

Disney announced “new enhancements” coming to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Simplified packages will make the process easier, and the Fairy Godmother will visit with guests.

We spotted PhotoPass Cast Members around the back of the castle, and we think this may be in preparation for the new Fairy Godmother meet and greet that will begin in early October.
