Robert Redford Has Passed Away at Age 89

Actor Robert Redford, known among Disney fans for his roles in Pete’s Dragon, Captain America: Winter Soldier, and Avengers: Endgame, has passed away at the age of 89.

Actor Robert Redford passed away this morning, September 16, at his home in Utah, Rogers & Cowan PMK chief executive Cindi Berger told the New York Times. He reportedly passed away in his sleep, and no cause of death was given.

He was born on August 18, 1936 in Santa Monica, CA. Over his career, the actor, director, and producer has won an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and two Golden Globes, among many other awards.

Redford has starred in several Disney movies, including Pete’s Dragon (2016), Captain America: Winter Soldier (2014), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
