There’s a new Maleficent dress, exclusive to Disney Parks Dress Shop, available online at the Disney Store.
Maleficent Dress – $128

Want to unleash your inner villain? The Maleficent dress for women is inspired by the Disney classic film, Sleeping Beauty. The majority of the dress is black with a pieced bodice and rumpet-style skirt with godets.

The hot pink V-neck collar matches some of the godets at the very bottom of the dress. Purple stitching features embroidered thorns and dragon horns at the top and bottom, as well as piping trim that run down on either side of the center of the dress.

An enamel dragon zipper pull allows the dress to open in the front, but the actual zipper is invisible.

Cap sleeves offer a feminine look, and pockets make it easy to store personal belongings. The dress is fully lined, and an elastic waistband on the back makes for a comfortable fit.
Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty is a classic animated fairy tale released in 1959. As the story goes, King Stefan and Queen Leah are celebrating the birth of Princess Aurora, and Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather gift the baby magical blessings of beauty and song.
However, before Merryweather can gift her blessing, evil fairy Maleficent curses Aurora. She will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die. Fortunately, Merryweather is able to soften the curse, and instead of dying, Aurora will fall into a deep sleep until true love’s kiss wakes her.
Aurora is raised in secret in the forest, and she meets (and falls in love with) Prince Phillip on her 16th birthday. Maleficent finds her and tricks her into pricking her finger, and she falls into the deep sleep. Prince Phillip fights the now-dragon Maleficent and saves Aurora with a kiss.
