Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park at Walt Disney World is now closed for a seasonal refurbishment.
Blizzard Beach Closed Temporarily
Blizzard Beach closed for a few weeks in May before reopening for the summer, marking the first time since 2019 that it operated simultaneously with Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
A reopening date is not yet available on the Walt Disney World calendar, which is available through May 7, 2026. However, Blizzard Beach could still reopen before that date.
Typhoon Lagoon remains open with hours available through November 17. No hours are listed for the park after that date, so it may close for a refurbishment at that time and Blizzard Beach could reopen.
Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can take advantage of free water park admission on their check-in day.
