Reviews

Topped with salted caramel, chocolate sauce, and berry jam

This is the size of a small pizza and comes in a pizza box with a Sketch Pad Cafe sticker on it. The cookie is cut like a pizza, too, into six wedges.

The caramel looked dried out, but it’s the highlight of the cookie. It’s not too salty or too sweet. The chocolate tasted a bit like Nutella, but it was good, as was the jam.

Despite being refrigerated, the cookie was chewy and moist. It’s obviously shareable, and kids will love it for breakfast or dessert.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Overnight Oats – $12

Layered with pumpkin cheesecake, chocolate cookie crumbles, granola, cranberries, and gummy worms

Even though this is supposed to be pumpkin cheesecake, we didn’t get any cheesecake flavor from it. The pumpkin was there. But the best thing was the gummy worms, and the fact that you can keep the plastic jar.

Salted Caramel Whoopie Pie – $8

Dark chocolate and salted caramel buttercream

A round chocolate cookie with a bright orange topping sits on a cream-colored square tray placed on a wooden table.

This was nice and moist. The caramel icing is sweet, and the dark chocolate pie balances everything out. This is a decent treat.

Matcha Horchata – $12

Made with rice, condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and topped with matcha tea

A plastic cup of green juice with a lid sits beside a Sketch Pad Cookie on a wooden table in a modern café.

Matcha likes to settle, so make sure to stir this first. You do have to like matcha as that’s prominent, but the horchata helps smooth it out and brings in a natural sweetness. We highly recommend this.

Paradise Tea Lemonade – $7 for 16 oz/$8.50 for 20 oz

House-made lemonade, lavender syrup, and hibiscus cooler tea

A red and white gradient drink in a plastic cup, beside a Sketch Pad Cookie, on a wooden table in a colorful cafe.

This also needs to be stirred, although the syrup didn’t want to mix in. It plugged our straw when we tried to sip from the bottom. Still, this isn’t a bad drink. It’s tart, sweet, and appropriately floral.

Pumpkin Cold Brew – $7 for 16 oz/$8.50 for 20 oz

Joffrey’s cold brew, caramel syrup, pumpkin purée, and pumpkin spice

A plastic cup filled with an iced coffee drink topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, placed on a wooden table.

We didn’t taste pumpkin at all — there was more of a ginger flavor. This is one of the worst coffees on property and we wouldn’t get it again.
