Purple evil Minions are appearing in Minion Park for Halloween 2025 at Universal Studios Japan, alongside yellow Minions in their Halloween costumes.
Halloween Minion Meet and Greet
The purple Minions, sometimes dubbed the evil Minions, match their appearance in the films with crooked teeth and black overalls. These Minions first appeared in Despicable Me 2. They were regular Minions corrupted by PX-41 serum by El Macho.
Other Minions wear monster-inspired costumes, like FrankenBob and Stuart as a mummy.
All of these characters appear at the entrance of Minion Park as part of Hahaha! Halloween Party from September 4 through November 3, 2025.
Other offerings include the Pokémon Unstoppable Halloween Party, Universal Wonderland: Let’s Rock Together!, and trick or treating. Halloween Horror Nights 2025 is also ongoing at Universal Studios Japan from September 5 through November 3.
