Howdy! Today was a lot of fun in EPCOT. After surviving the chaos that has become Pin Tuesdays, I found new Mini Mix-Its in the Creation Shop and discovered new drama afoot in the tiny train village in the Germany pavilion.
Good Morning from EPCOT
Good morning from a stunning morning in EPCOT! The slight breeze and mild heat are unbeatable. These are the mornings everyone wants to have for their Disney days. I also think it’s worth noting that since my last photo report, EPCOT has added palm trees to the entrance. I love them.
Morning Coffee?
I was tempted by the Starbucks devil when I noticed that Connections Cafe was open for all guests. Now, before you get excited thinking this could be a hack to sneak into early entry, there are Cast Members posted at every door inside Connections that will block you from leaving unless you are staying in a resort.
When the park opens, if you find yourself inside and ready to leave, you will have to wait for the herd of people to pass by before the Cast lets you leave. I was told this was for safety reasons, which I totally understand, given the way people rush out at park opening.
I do think this is a nice offering, since a lot of people wait there for a good half hour, if not longer. Let me know your thoughts on this operational change in the comments below.
Pin-Tastic Tuesday is Becoming Less Pin-Tastic Each Week
Y’all. What the heck is going on? Pin Tuesday used to be a relaxed affair, but now all four parks and Disney Springs are swamped with people before the parks even open. In fact, the Pooh pin sets were sold out at EPCOT before 9:15, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom was sold out before the park even opened.
Pin Tuesday Releases
There were five total releases today. I was only able to get four of the five before the Halloween Countdown set sold out. I think the parks have a harder time keeping stock of the limited edition pins that are also sold online at DisneyStore.com. As you can see online, that pin set is also sold out online.

More New Character Packable Totes – $19.99 each
Last week, in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I found a Baymax and Stitch packable totes. Now Pooh and Marie have joined the collection. I am a sucker for anything related to Winnie the Pooh. I love the artwork on the packable tote, too. Let me know in the comments below if you’ll be picking up one of these adorable space savers on your next trip. I found Pooh and Marie in the Creations Shop in EPCOT.
More New Merchandise
In Creations Shop, there were also two new Mini Mix-Its featuring Goofy and Clarabelle in their best pirate hats. Each is available for $22.99. I love them both, and it’s perfect timing with the new Beak and Barrel bar recently opening in Magic Kingdom.
There was also a Mickey Mouse Club figure that plays the iconic theme available for $99.99. Although perhaps the most exciting find today in the Creations Shop was the Baymax and Mochi claw clip. This adorable hair accessory is available for $14.99.
Tangled Pandora Drops
There are two new charms from Pandora featuring one of the most celebrated Princesses, Rapunzel. There is a color-changing Pascal charm available for $98.00. There is also a flower charm that glows in the dark that has a small saying, “follow your own light.” The flower charm is available for $98.00.
DVC Lounge New QR Code Display
Coming in hot with the breaking news here, but there is a new display advertising the Disney Vacation Club membership. You can see this new addition in ImageWorks at the check-in desk for the DVC Lounge.
The Seas
I had a great time in the Seas. I loved watching the seahorses, manatees, and the sea urchins wearing their Mickey Mouse hats that Disney 3D prints for the urchins. I had the most fun flirting with the SCUBA diver blowing rings. Please enjoy the short clip.
All Hallow’s Eve Hat – $35.00
When I was in the United Kingdom pavilion in the Crest and Crown shop, I found a new hat featuring a Halloween crest. I love the little skeleton on the side. Are you a big Halloween fan? I was a huge Halloween person, but the older I get, the more I become a Christmas person. Let me know where you land in the comments below.
Beak and Barrel and Guardians Cosmic Rewind References
The Crest and Crown shop in the United Kingdom pavilion changes the names of the displayed crests in the shop about once a month. We have seen everything from Taylor Swift, to old nineties sitcoms to British bands displayed. Now the names feature the newest bar in Walt Disney World, the Beak and Barrel. The Cast have also pulled some of the songs from Guardians of the Galaxy’s: Cosmic Rewind to display.
New Merchandise For Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Be sure to stay tuned to our website for a full breakdown of all the new merchandise released featuring Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. These are just a few of my favorite pieces. I love the new ears available for $34.99, the apron for $39.99, and the metal sign for $79.99.
Tiny Village Drama Update
Our tiny friend still holds strong to her teddy bear as she teeters on the edge of the tower. Luckily, there were no tiny naked women on the ledge with her this time.
I did notice that there were much bigger gatherings of villagers than before. Perhaps they are having roaming dinner parties? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
I hope you enjoyed our day in EPCOT. I most enjoyed the weather under ninety degrees and seeing my fishy friends, and playing with the SCUBA diver in the tank in the Seasbase Aquarium.
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite moment or merchandise was from today’s adventure.
