The new trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu includes a reference to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the now-closed Star Wars hotel in Walt Disney World.
The Mandalorian and Grogu References Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

In The Mandalorian and Grogu trailer, the above shot shows several glowing signs in Aurebesh, the universal language of the Star Wars universe. The shot is actually of a puddle, so all of the signs are upside-down and mirrored. Below is how the image flipped and mirrored so we can read the signs properly.

The larger signs on the left appear to read “Street Cafe,” “The Den,” and “Spice.” A smaller circular billboard on the right, however, reads, “Halcyon, See the Galaxy,” with an image of the ship.
The Halcyon was the setting of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. It was a Corellian passenger MPO-1400 Purgill-class cruiser operated by Chandrila Star Line. It was commissioned in 241 BBY and continued to operate through at least the Battle of Batuu in 34 ABY — the story of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience.
The Mandalorian Disney+ series begins in 9 ABY, about five years after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and 25 years before Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was an immersive cruise-style experience at Walt Disney World. It opened on March 1, 2022, and was met with mixed reviews. It closed permanently on September 30, 2023. We learned earlier this year that the building would become Walt Disney Imagineering offices and a construction permit was filed for the space in August.

The Mandalorian and Grogu

The Mandalorian and Grogu will be in theaters on May 22, 2026. It will be the first Star Wars movie in theaters since The Rise of Skywalker was released in 2019. It stars Pedro Pascal reprising his titular role as Din Djarin a.k.a. The Mandalorian alongside Grogu a.k.a. “Baby Yoda.”
The cast also includes Sigourney Weaver as Ward, Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, and Jonny Coyne reprising his role as an Imperial Warlord. Zeb Orrelios, voiced by Steve Blum, also returns after a cameo in The Mandalorian season 3. Zeb originated in the Star Wars Rebels animated series.
The Mandalorian ran for three seasons on Disney+. A fourth season was in development. It’s not clear if the season is still planned or if the film is replacing it.
