The Beak and Barrel Now Limiting Party Sizes to 8 Guests or Less

Walt Disney World’s newest bar, The Beak and Barrel, now appears to be limiting reservations to parties of eight or fewer.

The Beak and Barrel Party Size

When browsing reservation availability, WDWNT noticed that party sizes at The Break and Barrel are now limited to eight guests or less.

Prior to today, guests could select up to 20 for their reservations when booking a time for The Beak and Barrel, although the largest single table option in the bar is for eight individuals. Of course, this excludes the large “family-style” table in the main room, which is shared by several parties at once.

Now, both the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app do not have numbers listed higher than 8 when selection a party size. The Beak and Barrel does still appear on the list of restaurants for parties of 15 or more on the general search, but it is listed as unavailable.

We spoke with a Cast Member, who confirmed that parties of nine or more cannot be accommodated, as per the restaurant’s policies. However, we could not find anywhere this is explicitly stated or written on the website.

The Cast Member did note that some restaurants at Walt Disney World do allow larger parties to book together, with the understanding that they will be seated at more than one table. However, it appears The Beak and Barrel is attempting to circumvent this issue by no longer listing group sizes bigger than 8.

Earlier this week, Disney dropped many new dates for The Beak and Barrel reservations, after being previously sold out for almost the entire booking calendar. While these were mainly available for smaller party sizes, almost every date in September and October became available. Since the time of writing, however, these smaller reservations have already filled up as well.

Bookings for The Beak and Barrel first opened to all guests on August 20, 2025. Within one hour, most dates for larger party sizes of four or more were completely booked through the end of October, which was the end of the dining calendar at the time. After another hour, practically every date on the calendar for The Beak and Barrel was completely booked for all party sizes, even single guests.

The Beak and Barrel is the newest dining venue to open in Magic Kingdom. The location is a bar, similar in nature to Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but inspired by the nearby Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.
