HamiKuma Merchandise Arrives at Universal Studios Hollywood for Halloween Horror Nights 2025

Just after the debut of HamiKuma merchandise at Universal Studios Florida, the mascot of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Japan is now at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Who is HamiKuma?

HamiKuma is a popular zombie teddy bear in Universal Studios Japan. As the story goes, he was a side show act in a traveling circus. His fellow performers were jealous of his popularity, and they believed the rumor that he wasn’t even a real bear.

To prove their point, they slashed him open in order to see what/who was inside. After the act, they burned down the big top tent, killing HamiKuma.

Death Bringer, a parasitic demon, entered HamiKuma after he died, and they returned to the surface world.

We reported on rumors that HamiKuma would appear at both Universal Studios parks in the United States, and his merchandise has already debuted at Universal Orlando Resort for Halloween Horror Nights 2025. Now, the collection is available to purchase at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The merchandise at Universal Studios Hollywood is the same as we found at Universal Studios Florida. No discounts are available for the HamiKuma items.

We found these items at the Universal Studios Store.

Brown furry HamiKuma headbands with blue-nosed monster faces await at Universal Studios Halloween gift shops.

This plush headband has a small version of HamiKuma in the middle and furry bear ears on each side.

HamiKuma’s claws are on full display, along with the tie and exposed eye socket. The bear ears on each side have red and green plaid in the middle.

On the back, “HamiKuma” is placed along the top, and an image of the top of his body fills the rest of the jersey. In the image, the lower half is gone, and all that remains is the candy.

Keychain – $25

A miniature version of “scary-cute” HamiKuma is available with a carabiner-style keychain attachment at the top.

The furry brown body has his signature face, plaid bowtie with blue ribbon, claws, and the insides of his abdomen spilling out. The Japanese “scary cute” blends both the cute aspects of a teddy bear with the grotesqueness of his terrifying features.

The interior, which is plain brown, has one zipper pouch. It comes with a black adjustable carry strap, which has a white pattern of candy, beads, and HamiKuma’s name.
