Kamla, the host, introduces the show as a celebration of a king to honor King T’Challa, also known as the Black Panther.
However, the event is interrupted when Loki, the self-proclaimed benevolent ruler, arrives and declares that the celebration is actually for him.
Then, the Grand Hall turns green and the Loki banner drops from the top of the stage.

He claims his “birthright” is to rule the “Midgardians” (aka the audience) and demands they show their adoration with a proper throne. He is initially presented with a trunk instead of a throne, but the top opens up to reveal an actual throne.
He then calls on two members of the audience to draw his royal portrait.

Loki then instructs the audience to show their admiration for him through song and dance. With the help of Crew Members, who divide the audience in half, the song group sings “Loki is better than Thor,” and the dance group performs an interpretive dance. The royal portraits are also revealed.

After the song and dance tributes end, Loki is about to give a speech when King T’Challa interrupts with music and lighting effects throughout the Grand Hall. T’Challa walks down the staircase as his banner replaces Loki’s banner. He confronts Loki on the stage, stating, “You have burdened these good people long enough,” and reminds the audience, “together, we are stronger than one.”

Kamla and the audience affirm their support for King T’Challa. At the Black Panther’s suggestion, Loki concedes that his “birthright to rule is destined elsewhere” and leaves. King T’Challa then addresses the crowd, apologizing for his delay and expressing his joy at being there.

The show ends with King T’Challa greeting guests from the audience.
