The new mural in the Pop Century Resort lobby has been fully revealed, featuring Mickey and friends representing different decades.
Pop Century Character Mural

The first two sections of the retro-styled mural were unveiled in September, with Minnie representing the ’50s and Daisy the ’60s. Now the rest of their friends have joined them on the Pop Century Resort lobby wall across from the new check-in counters.

The new characters on the mural are Goofy, Pluto, and Donald. Each character is on a separate section for a different decade.

Goofy is dressed in his ’70s disco best with a brown pointed-collar shirt and yellow suit. He’s surrounded by stylized art of roller skates, lava lamps, and a mirror ball in shades of yellow, green, and orange. His hat appears among the polka-dot pattern.

Pluto is popping into the ’80s with a teal zigzag collar and purple and turquoise triangular sunglasses, echoing the color scheme of this section. The pattern features an arcade cabinet, 3D glasses, and cassette tapes along with triangles and striped half-circles.

Donald rounds out the crew with radical ’90s style. He’s sporting a turquoise shirt with a yellow and purple design and hot pink over-ear headphones. Around him are accents of pink, teal, and yellow (plus his feet) and icons of VHS tapes, half-circles, and an original cellular phone.

Pop Century Resort has been undergoing a resort-wide refurbishment, with revamped rooms having debuted in spring 2025. The complete renovation is slated to be complete in February 2026.
