Roaming, Talking Christmas Tree Returns to Walt Disney World

The roaming, talking Christmas tree named Douglas Fir has returned to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. Douglas made his debut in 2023 and sometimes appears during the summer as an orange tree.

Douglas has gained some ornaments. He’s now decorated with small Santa hats and stockings, plus a pair of gingerbread men. He rolls around in a red planter box and interacts live with Disney Springs guests.

We spotted him outside the check-in area for the Santa Claus meet and greet. See Douglas in action in our video below.

Are you hoping to meet Douglas Fir during the holiday season? Let us know in the comments and on social media.

The 2025 Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is also open.
