Crews are repairing the damaged areas of the MuppetVision 3D theater façade ahead of its transformation into a new Monsters, Inc. venue. Faux windows, windowsills, and arched brick designs were removed from the building this month, necessitating the fixes.

Crews have filled the gaps in the brick façade with gray paste. These spots are where the arched bricks and windowsills used to be, while the window shutters were between them. Near the top of the clocktower, a smaller rectangle is where a post used to stick out of the tower.

There is also white residue across the façade that will likely be cleaned up after the brickwork is repaired. Concept art for the Monsters, Inc. land shows the theater maintaining its brick exterior but with a new marquee and clocktower wrap.

Disney has not announced what will go inside the theater. Permits were filed earlier this month for “general construction” at the venue.

The only attraction confirmed for Monstropolis is the door coaster, which is being constructed backstage.
