Disney Parks Blog shared a tour of Disney Store Times Square, which is decorated for the holidays and offering holiday merchandise, alongside its New York exclusives.
Disney Store Times Square Christmas Decorations
Disney Store Times Square is a 20,000-square-foot, two-story shop with merchandise, larger-than-life displays, and photo ops.
The store opens every morning with a special ceremony. A guest is chosen to unlock the store and gets to take home their own replica key.
For the holidays, merchandise displays are topped with gift boxes and Christmas trees. Some shelving is covered in red snowflake-patterned wrappings. Light-up snowflakes hang from the ceiling.
Light-up panels feature Mickey and Friends with holiday slogans like “Merry & Bright” and “Warm Holiday Wishes.” Giant ornaments hang throughout the space.
Atop displays are cutouts of Mickey and Friends in Santa-inspired outfits. Mickey and Minnie are accompanied by a miniature version of Santa’s sleigh. Donald and Daisy are alongside a Mickey-shaped, light-up wreath.
A giant wreath decal is on the front window, with the faces of Mickey and Friends acting as ornaments.
These pins are exclusive to the physical store, but the Minnie Mouse Lady Liberty plush is available from DisneyStore.com, along with the Mickey Mouse “I <3 NY” plush.
The Mickey Mouse reindeer plush and Minnie Mouse reindeer plush are both exclusive to Disney Store locations and DisneyStore.com.
Other seasonal merchandise available at Disney Store Times Square includes cardigans, pullover sweaters, housewares, and snowman ears.
Disney Store Times Square is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
