Work continues between Super Nintendo World and Celestial Park at Epic Universe as Universal prepares for an expansion.

Crews began preparing this site next to Super Nintendo World earlier this month. There haven’t been big changes to the space, but an excavator was moving dirt near the center.
The land is on the south side of Super Nintendo World, between the Mario Kart show building and Other Worlds Mercantile, right across from the bus loop.
This space isn’t one of the expansion pads large enough for a new world, but it was rumored to be for a permanent events pavilion, which could now be coming to fruition. The park’s grand opening utilized a temporary tent near Stardust Racers.
Bio also spotted construction materials staged in a backstage area. These include structural steel and trusses.
