We got a look at the refurbished Garden View Tea Room interior through the recently revealed windows in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort lobby.
Garden View Tea Room Refurbishment Appears Complete

Earlier, we reported that the construction walls and scrim had been removed from the Garden View Tea Room in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort lobby, revealing new stained glass windows. Our reporter was able to get a good look at the refurbished interior through these windows.

There are new white chairs with leaf-patterned backs and green seat cushions around round white marble-patterned tables as well as additional light wood tabletops. The new carpet is green with a brown and blue pattern that looks like a mix of leaves and feathers, with hidden Mickeys throughout.

The bench seats feature blue seat cushions and pillows as well as neutral patterned back cushions. The green mid-century styled chairs have patterned fabric and wicker backs and light green cushions.
The Garden View Tea Room has not operated since 2020 and is the last major element of the Grand Floridian lobby refurbishment remaining. For comparison, here is a photo of the Garden View Tea Room from before it closed, showing the predominantly pink color scheme:

Disney previously announced the Garden View Tea Room would open in early 2026 with a “new tea experience.” It’s possible Disney will soft open it this week for Christmas.
