Tom Hiddleston Says ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Story is “Absolutely Brilliant”

Loki actor Tom Hiddleston recently reflected on his experience after wrapping up filming on Avengers: Doomsday.

In an article by Deadline reflecting on a GQ cover story, Tom Hiddleston stated that he recently finished filming Doomsday. His character, Loki, continues his “glorious purpose” he found at the end of Season 2 of the Disney+ series Loki by becoming the God of Stories and safeguarding the entire multiverse by holding infinitely branching realities together.

Hiddleston then called Doomsday “monumental,” specifically noting to the outlet, “The center of the story is absolutely brilliant, and was so surprising when I read it. It just has never been done before.”

Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters on December 18, 2026. A second teaser trailer that featured Chris Hemsworth as Thor was released today.
