Tokyo Disney Resort announced more details of the Tokyo DisneySea 25th “Sparkling Jubilee” celebrating 25 years of the sea-themed park. Announced earlier this year, the event will run from April 15, 2026 through March 31, 2027. Joining previously announced entertainment are details of food, souvenirs, and a gala.
Dance the Globe!
For the first time in about 12 years, Waterfront Park in American Waterfront will present entertainment in the form of stage show Dance the Globe! Beginning on January 14, Mickey will invite his friends to “celebrate rich cultures and vibrant entertainment, with a festival to showcase a variety of dance and music styles from countries near and far.” The show will be performed 2 – 4 times daily and is 25 minutes.
Dance the Globe! will feature rhythmic dance styles evoking the African savanna, a performance reminiscent of a European festival, and cheerful numbers themed to Latin America. Featured characters will include Rapunzel from Tangled, Hiro from Big Hero 6, and the Tokyo DisneySea debut of Mirabel from Encanto.
During the actual anniversary event period, Mickey and Friends will appear in their “Jubilee Blue” outfits. Pyrotechnics will light up the finale.
Sparkling Jubilee Celebration
The Sparkling Jubilee Celebration will take place 1 – 3 times daily in Mediterranean Harbor and run for 20 minutes. Mickey and Friends will appear in their anniversary outfits on a specially decorated barge. They will be joined by Disney friends at Piazza Topolino, Lido Isle, and in front of Zambini Brothers’ Ristorante.
Featured characters include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Duffy, ShellieMay, Chip, Dale, Clarice, Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Geppetto, Gelatoni, StellaLou, Diu Mel, CookieAnn, and LinaBell.
Mickey will lead everyone in a count to 25. Cast Members from each port will also join in. The celebration will be accompanied by “Come Join the Jubilee,” the anniversary’s theme song, which “celebrates the many stories that have unfolded in the park’s 25-year history and expresses wishes for beautiful journeys to continue into the future.”
Decorations and Immersive Experiences
Mickey, Minnie, and 25th anniversary logo decorations will be around the Tokyo DisneySea AquaSphere at the park entrance. Passaggio MiraCosta will be adorned in decorations. Each themed port will have their own “Jubilee Blue” decor.
Sparkling Jubilee Night
When night falls, Mediterranean Harbor will be transformed with “Sparkling Jubilee Night.” Projections on Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta will be set to the anniversary theme song. The courtyard at Arabian Coast will also be illuminated in Jubilee Blue, accompanied by the theme song and other music.
Merchandise
Special event merchandise will be available beginning April 8, 2026. These Jubilee Blue items include apparel and stationery. Duffy and Friends event merchandise will be available beginning on April 14, 2026.
Jubilee Badge
Guests can customize a Jubilee Badge with different ribbons and charms. There will be two strap options, four badge types, 12 charms, and 11 ribbons.
The badge that comes with a ribbon is ¥1,600. The other three base badges are ¥1,000. Ribbons are ¥800 each. Charms are ¥700 each. Straps are ¥600 each.
Special Menus
Cafe Portofino in Mediterranean Harbor and Horizon Bay Restaurant in Port Discovery will both feature special 25th anniversary decorations and special dishes ahead beginning on April 8, 2026.
During the event period, Sparkling Jubilee Wagons in American Waterfront will offer exclusive Jubilee Blue macarons. Other special Jubilee Blue menu items will include sundaes and special drinks.
The Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival will also take place during the anniversary event, from April 15 through June 30, 2026.
Jubilee Blue Memories
A special themed installation will be presented on Ponte Vecchio, a bridge in Mediterranean Harbor, for a limited period from April 15, 2026. Guests who purchase a special bottle at Rimembranze, a shop on Ponte Vecchio, will gain access to the installation. Here, they can select a “Jubilee Blue Stone” to store in their bottle and take home. Guests will also be able to take keepsake photos at the installation.
S.S. Columbia Jubilee Gala
Another paid offering is the S.S. Columbia Jubilee Gala. The S.S. Columbia will be reserved exclusively for this gala during from April 15 through June 30, 2026.
The interior of the ship will be decked out and the S.S. Columbia Dining Room will offer special dishes. Free refills of drinks will be available at The Teddy Roosevelt Lounge. The gala will also include exclusive merchandise and photo ops.
Other Offerings
A special anniversary map will be available as well. Pictured above is the cover of the map with the words “Sparkling Jubilee” and “25” along with the Tokyo Disney Sea and Mickey Mouse in his anniversary costume.

Guests entering Tokyo Disney Resort will be greeted by Cast Members wearing new Jubilee Blue nametags.
Guests will have the opportunity to receive commemorative stickers and detailed leaflets.
Cast Members in each port will carry unique Jubilee Blue flags representing their area, which guests can take pictures with.
Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages
A special 2-day vacation package will include a meet and greet with characters in their anniversary outfits and a meal at Magellan’s. Select plans will include show viewing tickets for Dance the Globe!
Exclusive original merchandise will be available through plans at Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotels. Guests who stay with one of these plans will receive a 25th anniversary vanity pouch.
Disney Hotels
Hotel MiraCosta and Fantasy Springs Hotel will both have spaces adorned with 25th anniversary decorations. Guest rooms will offer two distinct postcards with special designs.
Guests will have the opportunity to purchase a card key and key case set with anniversary designs.
Select Disney hotel restaurants will have special menus.
Disney Resort Line
Disney Resort Line will feature the Tokyo DisneySea 25th “Sparkling Jubilee” Liner monorail trains with special designs and decorations. Limited-period day passes with an anniversary design and souvenir medallions will be available.
