Disney World visitors are in for some unseasonably cold weather in Central Florida this weekend. This weekend’s temperatures will be the coldest the area has seen since 2010.

The nighttime temperature on Saturday will go down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit with moderate winds. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) calculator, a temperature of 25 degrees with 30 mph winds gives a wind chill of 8.1 degrees.

With these low temperatures, there is a slight chance that the East Coast of Central Florida could see some snowflakes or a wintry mix. If snow does fall, however, it is unlikely to accumulate, according to News6.

Because of this change in weather, the NWS has issued an Extreme Cold Watch for areas of Central Florida, including Orlando. The watch runs from Saturday evening into Sunday afternoon.
