The live-action Ariel meet and greet will be moved back to its original location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Ariel Meet & Greet Moves Back To Walt Disney Presents

Ariel’s temporary meet and greet location moved from Walt Disney Presents to Echo Lake, near 50’s Prime Time Cafe. This change started on October 28, for the start of holiday meet and greets.

She will return to her original location at Walt Disney Presents on January 12, according to the official Walt Disney World website. Hours are listed for 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Her original space is styled to look like the terrace of Prince Eric’s seaside castle. The space at Echo Lake was hardly themed at all. A row of tall potted plants were placed behind her, and a wooden box/treasure chest sat on the ground.

Recently, a new preview center for the many upcoming Walt Disney World projects was installed at Walt Disney Presents. It has proven to be a very high-demand location lately, thanks to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour costumes being temporarily put on display, as well as holiday displays featuring The Muppets Christmas Carol.

Ariel from the live-action Little Mermaid has met guests in Disney’s Hollywood Studios since May 26, 2023, the day the adaptation was released in the United States. Oscar-nominated Rob Marshall directed the film.

The animated feature received a new show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios last year.
