The Haunted Mansion Parlor – First Place, Retail & Dining

The Haunted Mansion Parlor is an immersive lounge located aboard the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny cruise ships that pays homage to the classic attraction. The space constantly transforms throughout a 30-minute “show” that incorporates lights, music, and interactive elements including a ghostly fish tank, living portraits, and a large animated mirror.

Walt Disney – A Magical Life – Second Place, Immersive Attraction

Created to commemorate Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, the Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic was modeled after Walt as he was in 1963 and speaks through the use of archival voice recordings. His attire was researched and carefully crafted, and even his hands are exact, thanks to the discovery of a bronze mold taken of them prior to his death.

The Walt Audio-Animatronic appears for a three-minute performance following the documentary film, “Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream“:

Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point – Third Place, Sustainability

Disney Cruise Line’s second private island, Lookout Cay, opened in June 2024. Disney originally purchased Lighthouse Point in March 2019, and although they purchased 700 acres, Disney elected to donate 190 acres to the Bahamian government. This land has since been developed into a national park.

Disney has maintained a commitment to incorporating Bahamian themes into the island, honoring local culture with special offerings like “RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration and championing a sustainable approach that prioritizes the local people and wildlife.

Pixar Adventurous Journey at Shanghai Disneyland — Third Place, Immersive Experience

Pixar Adventurous Journey opened in Shanghai Disneyland’s Tomorrowland on June 27, 2025. This immersive, narrative-driven walkthrough exhibition brings seven Pixar stories to life: Inside Out, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Turning Red, Coco, Up, and Soul.

Disney Tale of Moana — Third Place, Storytelling

The Tale of Moana is a Broadway-style theatrical performance exclusive to the Disney Treasure. Along with stellar performances, The Tale of Moana uses puppetry and practical effects to retell the story of the favorite Disney movie with a few unique twists along the way. We consider it Disney’s best stage show since The Lion King on Broadway.
