Wilderness Lodge Boat Transportation Resumes

The boat dock at Disney's Wilderness Lodge has reopened a week ahead of schedule amid a refurbishment. Guests can once again travel by boat between the resort and Magic Kingdom.

Boat transportation was originally scheduled to be suspended from January 12 through 30. But on January 23, we noticed boats traveling from Magic Kingdom to the resort. According to one of the captains, one side of the Wilderness Lodge dock opened in the morning and the other side should open this afternoon.

The boat dock refurbishment will continue through early April 2026. The construction is just for routine maintenance.
