Disney California Adventure is set to celebrate the Year of the Horse and its Magic Key holders by distributing a special keepsake button during the upcoming Lunar New Year Celebration.
Magic Key Lunar New Year Button
The button has a red background with lanterns and medallions. The featured horse is Horace Horsecollar, one of the earliest Disney characters created in 1929. Right below Horace’s hand is the Magic Key logo with Disneyland written underneath. Beside the horse, Lunar New Year 2026 is written inside a yellow circle.
The complimentary button will be available for pickup with presentation of a Magic Key pass under Silly Symphony Swings in Paradise Gardens Park from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day from Friday, January 23 to Monday, January 26, 2026, while supplies last. Magic Key holders can also expect to find a unique and festive photo opportunity in the same location to commemorate Lunar New Year.

Lunar New Year runs at Disney California Adventure from January 23– February 22.
