Jumpin' Jellyfish at Disney California Adventure Closing for Refurbishment in Late February

Jumpin’ Jellyfish closes on Monday, February 23, 2026. The last day to ride it before the closure will be Sunday, February 22. A reopening date is not yet available. The Disneyland Resort calendar is only posted through Tuesday, March 3, and the ride has no hours through that date.

Jumpin’ Jellyfish is a parachute-style ride, one of the classic carnival rides at Disney California Adventure. Designed for “little guppies” 40″ or taller, it “bounces” guests up and down a 40-foot-tall kelp bed in one of 12 jellyfish ride vehicles. The name is taken from an exclamation by Sebastian in The Little Mermaid.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind will reopen a few weeks before this closure, on February 6. Grizzly River Run will also be closed during this time.
