Magic: The Gathering 'Spider-Man' Collector's Box Lands at Disney Springs

Two new boxes of Magic: The Gathering cards themed to Marvel’s Spider-Man are now available at Walt Disney World Resort.

Spidey’s Senational Showdown Scene Card Set – $39.99

Marvel Spider-Man: Spidey’s Sensational Showdown is a subseries in the Magic: The Gathering card game that brings Marvel characters into the Magic universe as part of the Universes Beyond line.

Rather than serving as a standalone starter pack, this particular box set is designed primarily as a display and collectible item, blending Magic gameplay elements with Spider-Man–themed artwork.

The box includes six scene cards that can be combined to form a single panoramic illustration, along with three Magic play boosters containing standard playable cards.

According to the packaging, it also includes a display easel, allowing collectors to assemble and showcase the completed scene.

The featured artwork prominently features Spider-Man facing off against well-known villains such as Venom, Green Goblin, and Doctor Octopus.

Spider-Man Booster Display Box – $209.70

A new bulk option is now available for purchase. Magic players/collectors can instead purchase the full “display box” of Spider-Man booster packs as a single product.

As explained on the bottom of the box, each display box contains 30 Play Boosters. Each booster has 14 randomly selected game cards. Play Boosters include 1-4 cards of rarity Rare or higher, 3-5 Uncommon, 6-9 Common, and 1 Land card. One card of any rarity is Traditional Foil. Foil Showcase Mythic Rare in <1% of boosters. Traditional Foil Lands replace a Land card in 20% of boosters.

The rulebook is not included.

As of last September, individual booster packs for Magic: The Gathering Spider-Man cards were available at World of Disney for $6.99 each.
