Marvel’s Wonder Man is finally premiering on Disney+ this month, and the official trailer and poster have been released. Wonder Man was originally set to release in the 2023 – 2024 season but was delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. It was moved to December 2025 but ultimately pushed to January 27, 2026.

All eight episodes of the miniseries will be released on January 27 at 6 p.m. PT under the “Marvel Spotlight” banner. It stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams and Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery from Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Both characters are aspiring actors hoping to land roles in the remake of superhero film Wonder Man — Simon just happens to have real superpowers.
Wonder Man also stars Arian Moayed as Department of Damage Control agent P. Cleary, Zlatko Burić as the director Von Kovak, X Mayo, Olivia Thirlby, Byron Bowers as DeMarr Davis, and Demetrius Grosse as Eric Williams.
It was created by Destin Daniel Cretton (director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and Andrew Guest (consulting producer of Hawkeye). Cretton, James Ponsoldt, Tiffany Johnson, and Stella Meghie direct.
