Patrick Warburton, known for voicing Kronk in The Emperor’s New Groove and Mayor Winddancer in Zootopia 2, and for playing Patrick the flight attendant in the Soarin’ pre-show, will be a Mardi Gras king this year with the Bacchus krewe in New Orleans.

The 32-float Bacchus parade is known for their celebrity kings, who stand in as the Greek god of wine. This year’s parade, beginning on February 15 at 5:25 p.m., will honor the country’s birthday with the theme “Bacchus Celebrates America 250.” Floats will depict famous historical events and periods.
Warburton will be an appropriate representative considering Soarin’ is getting a new overlay for the 250th anniversary of America. The limited-time Soarin’ Across America will debut at EPCOT by Memorial Day and at Disney California Adventure for July 4.
