Marketplace Snacks, a snack kiosk in Disney Springs that is known for its Mickey waffle sundaes, has released three new savory bubble waffles. We tried them all today.
Marketplace Snacks Savory Bubble Waffles

Marketplace Snacks has three new savory bubble waffles: Hot Honey Chicken, BBQ Brisket, and Cheeseburger.
Hot Honey Chicken Bubble Waffle – $12.29
Hot Honey Chicken, Black Pepper Candied Bacon, Spicy Pickle Slaw, Roasted Jalapeños, Garlic Ranch, and Chopped Parsley

The heat is rather timid, but the roasted jalapeños add to the heat if you get one in a bite. The candied bacon is delicious, melts in your mouth, and the sweetness goes perfectly with the heat.
The pickle slaw isn’t too hot, but the smell of pickles definitely marinates. The garlic ranch was solid, but not overly impressive, and we didn’t notice the parsley. The chicken is nugget-sized and crispy, adding a nice texture to the snack.

Overall, there is a chaotic flavor and texture profile between the chicken, pickle, and jalapeño, which might be an issue for some people, but they still somehow work together to make the snack interesting and more complex than a typical Disney snack.

BBQ Brisket Bubble Waffle – $12.99
BBQ Brisket, Sweet Black Pepper BBQ Sauce, Pickled Onions, Chopped Parsley, and Mac and Cheese

We wanted to love this waffle, but we couldn’t. The chunks of brisket are tough on the outside and chewy on the inside. The mac and cheese is okay at best, and the waffle is standard. The BBQ sauce reminded us of our BBQ school lunch days, and the overall mushy texture was like baby food.

Overall, don’t risk it with the brisket. If you are a brisket connoisseur, you may not like this.

Cheeseburger Bubble Waffle – $12.99
Special-Blend Ground Beef, Crispy Bacon, Cheddar Cheese Sauce, Dill Pickles, Iceberg Lettuce, Diced Tomato, and Burger Sauce

We were most looking forward to trying this waffle, but the texture was wildly unpleasant. The ground beef felt like someone had already chewed it. It’s not bad, just not great. The waffle does taste like a cheeseburger, but it’s almost right. The bacon is solid, though it’s one strand split in half, so it doesn’t feel worth it for the price.

Overall, we almost like the flavor, but there’s just something off-putting about it. If you don’t like soggy lettuce or weird textures, this waffle isn’t for you.
