Disney has added a virtual queue for the duration of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend to the My Disney Experience app. Guests will utilize the queue for the runDisney Merchandise Shop and runDisney-Themed Brooks Running Shoes at the AdventHealth Arena inside the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Virtual Queue

The virtual queue is currently viewable in the My Disney Experience app and opened at 8:30 AM on January 7, 2026. Another opportunity to join the virtual queue takes place at 1:00 PM. Club runDisney members are not required to join the queue for their early shopping window access.

Guests will be able to join the queue up to approximately 45 miles away from the Walt Disney World Resort. Location services must be enabled for usage within the app. Tapping the three horizontal lines at the bottom, locate the “My Visit” section of the app, then the section “Virtual Queue”. You then need to press “Join Virtual Queue” at which point you will be presented with this screen:

Select your party when the queue opens, which can include up to six guests in total, agree to the terms and conditions, and press “Request to Join”. When or if approved, an estimated wait time will appear. When it is time for your shopping party to enter the shop, a push notification, if those are enabled, will pop up on your home screen. The digital entry code you’ll receive must be shown at the entrance of the shop in the form of the code itself, MagicBand in any form, or the MagicMobile pass.
