There is now scaffolding around the Pete’s Silly Sideshow tent in Magic Kingdom. The meet and greet venue is closed for refurbishment and the characters are currently meeting outside.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow Refurbishment

Construction walls went up around Pete’s Silly Sideshow a week ago, but there has been no scaffolding at the tent. The largest section of scaffolding is between Pete’s and Big Top Souvenirs. It’s covered in green scrim, which both blocks work from guest view and helps protect crew members from the weather.

We didn’t see any crew members working on Monday morning, January 12. The tent has fallen into disrepair over the past several months, with normal fading from the sun as well as a tear in the roof.

We could see the beginnings of more scaffolding behind the construction walls on the right.

Another scaffolding tower is towards the back of the tent, partially hidden by trees. There was no scrim on this scaffolding yet.

The scaffolding may eventually be covered by themed scrim to make the view slightly prettier for guests.
During the refurbishment, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy are meeting outside in Storybook Circus.
As always, guests can meet Mickey in the Town Square Theater at the front of the park and Pluto roams Storybook Circus.
