D23: The Official Disney Fan Club – together with Walt Disney Imagineering – announced a special ticketed event to celebrate Disney California Adventure’s 25th anniversary.
Celebrate 25 Years of California Adventure with D23
As part of their ongoing Spotlight Series of special events in partnership with other branches of the Walt Disney Company, D23 and Walt Disney Imagineering will be hosting a special panel discussion at the Disneyland Hotel.
The panel will feature former and current Imagineers as they look back on 25 years of Disney California Adventure. Interested guests may also add on a dessert party following the panel at the nearby World of Color show at Disney California Adventure Park.

Join D23 as we honor the 25th anniversary of Disney California Adventure Park! From showcasing iconic California scenery and optimism to bringing Super Hero and Pixar stories to life, with more wondrous worlds of Disney on the horizon… there’s so much to celebrate!
Come along with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club and Walt Disney Imagineering for a D23 Spotlight Series panel discussion—including former and current Imagineers—that dives into two-plus decades of Disney California Adventure history.
Tickets for the D23 Spotlight Series panel, along with a World of Color Dessert Party ticket option that includes the delightful World of Color Dessert Party, are available to both D23 General and D23 Gold Members! Take a look below at what each ticket type has to offer—and we look forward to seeing you at the Disneyland Hotel for this special event celebrating 25 years of Disney California Adventure!
The panel itself will take place on February 7, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. PT. Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 9 at 10 a.m. PT for Gold Members and 11 a.m. PT for General Members.
Two tiers of ticket are available, with one tier including access to the Imagineering panel only, and a second tier including the afforementioned dessert party during World of Color at 9 p.m. PT.
Both tiers will also receive an exclusive pin, shown below, featuring Dinosaur Jack’s Sunglass Shack. The Sunglass Shack was previously a standalone sunglass store at Disney California Adventure that operated from the park’s opening day in 2001 until its closure in May 2009. The shack’s structure comprised a distinctive a 33-foot-tall pink (later green) dinosaur in Paradise Pier’s Route 66 area.
