Asad Ayaz has been named the first-ever Chief Marketing Officer of The Walt Disney Company.

Disney Names First CMO

The Walt Disney Company has never had a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the entire company, until now. Asad Ayaz, the head of marketing for The Walt Disney Studios, has officially been named the company’s first CMO. This marks the first time the family monolith has ever installed a CMO across the entire operation.

As marketing head at the studios for eight years, Ayaz has taken lead on marketing for properties including Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, and Disney live-action and animation.
