The Tower of Terror gift shop inspired by historic florists is opening at Disneyland Paris, and the date has just been announced.
Tower of Terror Boutique

The new merchandise location inspired by the 1930s flower shops will open on January 31. The existing structure has been completely reworked to create a boutique that blends into World Premiere Plaza and its Art Deco-inspired theatre district area.

Its warm-colored roof tiles blend with the nearby Hollywood Tower Hotel. One of the façade walls is adorned with a trompe-l’oeil mural featuring Art Deco-inspired shapes. Bluish green mosaic tiles on the pediment coordinate with the colors of the surrounding streetlamps and the structures found along Adventure Way. There are also cypress trees, Mexican orange blossom, and lavender.

It will offer an authentic atmosphere thanks to the props scattered around the boutique, including flower bouquets, pictures celebrating its historical milestones, and even a fridge similar to those used by Californian florists at the time. The walls have a slightly aged lime wash, and there are red-tinted wooden beams.
There are photographs of the three sisters who originally opened the shop in old Hollywood, as well as newspaper cuttings highlighting their creations – “one of which mentions a magnificent bouquet delivered to The Hollywood Tower Hotel shortly before it was struck by tragic events…”

On the shelves, guests will find Oriental vases, which were highly fashionable in 1930s California, as well as lilies, peonie, and pale-petalled roses. Various florist tools such as terracotta pots and watering cans will also be staged throughout.
To also create a connection between this florist and the gardens and lake of Adventure Way, a nod to children’s leisure activities in parks of the last century has been incorporated, with a few miniature wooden sailing boats displayed on the top of some shelves.
“We designed this place so that it would be thematically consistent with World Premiere Plaza, while also fitting naturally with Adventure Way, as it sits right at the junction between the two,” explains Sébastien Dhainaut, Set Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris. “A flower shop naturally belongs in a theatre district, and it was also very common to find them near parks, as it was very fashionable at the time to stroll around carrying bouquets of flowers.”
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror opened at Walt Disney Studios Park in 2007 and is a near-clone of the former Disney California Adventure version of the attraction, which closed in 2017 to make way for Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout.
This is one of many projects underway at the upcoming Disney Adventure World, currently Walt Disney Studios Park. World of Frozen and the rest of the Adventure Bay expansion will open on March 29, 2026. Walt Disney Studios Park will also be renamed Disney Adventure World that day. Check out the latest map.
