Disney is starting to remove Christmas decorations now that the holiday season has wrapped up. First to go are the floating ornaments of Echo Lake in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Echo Lake Ornaments Gone

During the Christmas season, the lake is full of giant floating ornaments, as though they have fallen off the nearby giant Christmas tree. The tree is still standing, with a few ornaments on the ground nearby.

Gertie is also still wearing her Santa hat and has an ornament dangling from her mouth. Garlands and other decorations remain around Echo Lake.
Disney usually waits until after the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend to start removing big decorations. The races take guests through the parks in the early hours, when crews would want to work. The rest of the Christmas decorations will likely be gone in a week or so.
