Celebrations have begun for the 25th anniversary of Disney California Adventure, which opened its gates on February 8, 2001. The marquee of Carthay Circle Restaurant, a main icon of the park, wishes the park a happy 25th birthday.

The marquee now reads “Happy 25th Birthday” with pixie dust elements. It previously honored the 70th anniversary of Disneyland with “70th Celebration World Premiere” lettering. It still features the “70 Celebrate Happy” medallion on the tower.
In the evenings, guests can enjoy a 70th anniversary projection show on Carthay Circle. It’s performed periodically after dark. Watch our video below.
