Construction is moving onward outside the former Star Wars Launch Bay. The forthcoming Magic of Disney Animation area is set to open sometime in summer 2026.

This morning, we spotted crews removing part of the facade of the former Star Wars Launch Bay.
They are removing the material covering the steel structure that extends out from the building. As seen above, this part of the building is the section that had a blue line down the center.
As seen in the concept art, this platform will support Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat.
You can see where the sign was removed back in October. The Old Jedi Order banner that used to be above it is also gone.
