In her new role as President & Chief Creative Officer, Dana Walden will also oversee Disney’s film production.
Dana Walden

Walden is currently co-chairperson of Disney Entertainment alongside Alan Bergman. With the naming of Disney Experiences chair Josh D’Amaro as CEO, Walden will also be promoted to President and CCO.
Starting on March 18, Walden will add oversight of film and TV production and distribution to her purview. She will continue to lead Hulu and Disney+, as well as The Walt Disney Company Marketing. She has signed a new contract that runs through March 2030.
ESPN will remain separate under chairperson Jimmy Pitaro, who was also an early candidate for the CEO position.
Last month, Asad Ayaz was named Disney’s first-ever Chief Marketing and Brand Officer. Ayaz and Pitaro will both report directly to D’Amaro.
