Disneyland Paris has shared pictures of Nordic Crowns Tavern, the forthcoming counter service restaurant at Disney Adventure World, opening March 29.
Nordic Crowns Tavern

Nordic Crowns Tavern, right along the shore of an Arendelle fjord, is a tavern for all kinds. Travelers and villagers alike are welcome in this seafaring spot decked out in maritime charts and paintings.
According to a release, Walt Disney Imagineers were inspired by Bergen in Norway while designing the look of this new area. In particular, they were struck by the UNESCO-listed Bryggen district. With the town’s wooden buildings in mind, they set off to create a building that reflected that style as well as represented Anna and Elsa.
“We also applied Anna and Elsa’s colours to the two buildings at the entrance to Nordic Crowns Tavern, with green on one side and blue and purple on the other, echoing the dresses they wear at Elsa’s coronation,” Emma Yeates, Senior Manager, Show Design at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, noted in the release.

Anna and Elsa’s portraits are shown on a wall in the main hall against a split color background, in royal tones of a rich purple and green. The release notes that the upper level of the dining area is not accessible to guests, citing that it is reserved for the royal family.

Elsewhere in the restaurant, you will see other references to Frozen or its several spin-off tales. These include portraits of Olaf, Lieutenant Mattias, and Nokk as well as imagery of the Royal Sommerhaus in EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort.
Among the menu options at Nordic Crowns are items inspired by both Norwegian and Scandinavian cuisines. Indulge in dishes such as salmon or meatballs and top the meal off with a selection of frozen desserts.

Fans of Olaf’s Frozen Adventure from 2017 should also keep their eyes open for a familiar character. In the window above the entrance (left) is one of the cats that appears in the short film. The other cat can be spotted at the Golden Crocus Inn in Hong Kong Disneyland (right).
Disney Adventure World

World of Frozen opens on March 29, 2026, and Walt Disney Studios Park will officially be renamed Disney Adventure World that same day. World of Frozen will include an Anna and Elsa meet and greet inside Arendelle Castle, the Frozen Ever After attraction, a boat show, shopping, dining, and an impressive, self-walking, “living” animatronic Olaf. It was recently revealed that the annual pass preview guests will only be able to ride Frozen Ever After once by using a voucher.
