Rafiki’s Planet Watch is now closed for refurbishment as the area prepares to welcome the Bluey experience this summer. We noticed that the sign at Animal Kingdom was already covered up this morning.
Sign Covered

The sign at the entrance to Rafiki’s Planet Watch is covered with tan scrim. The entrance is roped off as the attraction is closed, starting today, for a refurbishment.
The uncovered sign looks like this (pictured below) with a symbol for the Wildlife Express Train that takes you to Conservation Station and the words “Open Your Eyes To the World All Around You.”

Along with Rafiki’s Planet Watch, Wildlife Express Train and Affection Section are also closed. There is still no update as to when they will both reopen for the new Bluey experience, other than that it will arrive this summer. The experience will include dances and games with Bluey and Bingo, a meet and greet, and animals from the Heelers’ home country of Australia.
It’s rumored that Affection Section, the area’s petting zoo, will permanently close, but the park website currently states that the closure is temporary. The Animation Experience, currently housed at Conservation Station, is closing and may move to The Magic of Disney Animation, also opening this summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
