Alton Towers, a Merlin Entertainments theme park in Staffordshire, England, has started testing their new Bluey junior coaster.

First 'Bluey the Ride: Here Comes the Grannies!' coaster testing in the U.K.

In a video shared by Instagram user The Sherwood Adventures, the world’s first Bluey ride has started coaster testing in anticipation of its spring opening. The video shows the coaster train making one complete ride-through on the green track.

You can view the full video below:

Alton Towers recently shared a first look at the ride vehicles featuring full-size figures of Bluey and Bingo in their Granny alter egos, Janet and Rita.

During the ride, Bluey and Bingo “get up to some grannies-themed mischief through Bluey’s backyard,” taking guests “over gentle dips, around turns, and through colourful trees, flowers, and playful surprises.” The interactive queue will also include Bluey’s house.

The ride isn’t the only Bluey experience coming to Alton Towers. Guests will also be able to meet Bluey and her family at the Bluey Live experience within Big Fun Show Time and stay in Bluey-inspired rooms at the CBeebies Land Hotel.

The coaster is set to open this spring, and hotel bookings are open.

In other Bluey news, fans in the U.S. will soon be able to meet Bluey at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World. A Bluey stage show will open at Disneyland this March, and Bluey will take over Conservation Station at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this summer, for which we already have the rumored timeframe.
