A new video posted today to promote the upcoming Pixar film Hoppers shows Tom Lizard walking around the Pixar Animation Studios campus.

Several clips of Tom Lizard, a friend of Mabel in Hoppers, were combined in a new video posted by YouTube user JoBlo today. One of those clips included Tom making his public debut at ESPN’s First Take in San Francisco, before showing him holding a phone in front of the Luxo Jr. Lamp and Luxo Ball statues at the Pixar Animation Studios campus. He waves to the camera before turning around and walking off.

The clip ends with showing the text, “Tom will return in Hoppers,” a parody of the Avengers: Doomsday character teasers.

Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong from a screenplay by Jesse Andrews and produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle. It stars Piper Curda as Mabel Tanaka, a 19-year-old animal lover who transfers her consciousness into a robot beaver, thanks to technology developed by Dr. Sam, voiced by Kathy Najimy.

The film will be in theaters on March 6, 2026. Theater signage and preview displays have already been added in anticipation for the movie, and an original song performed by SZA is now available to stream.
